Nightfall is not a disease but rather a sign of good sexual health. It affects nearly every boy at some point in life. However, frequent nightfall could be a sign of an underlying psychological or other health problem.

What Is Nightfall?

When boys reach adolescence, they undergo several hormonal changes. Their sex organs increase and they get the urge for masturbation. On dreaming of sex at night, which can cause involuntary ejaculation (release of sperm). This is called nightfall or wet dreams.

Nightfall is more common during puberty when sex organs are developing and testosterone spikes in the body. Sometimes middle-aged men also experience such situations depending on their sexual activity and lifestyle.
